There are four categories of Members:

EFFECTIVE MEMBERS
Are physical persons/professionals/practitioners  providing key competencies for achieving the Association’s goals and objectives. Effective members have the right to participate to the Annual General meeting with one vote per effective member. They have the right to access to the Association’s representative Offices, such as be elected President, Vice-President, General or Joint General Secretary, Treasurer or Member of the Management Board.

ADHERENT MEMBERS
Members having legal entity (industrial, commercial, service, association, public establishment, hard/soft technology providers etc). Each adherent member can designate only one representative for participating to the NEWOPERA Aisbl activities and any meeting originating thereof. Adherent members representatives have the right to participate to the Annual General meeting with one vote per adherent member. They have the right to access to the Association’s representative Offices, such as be elected President, Vice-President, General or Joint General Secretary, Treasurer or Member of the Management Board.

SPONSOR MEMBERS
Are industrial, public or private legal entities or persons without right of vote within the General Assembly. They can be invited to provide specific technical support within Working Groups on Management Board demand. They can volunteer to support specific issues of common interest or participate to events organised by NEWOPERA Aisbl. They can also participate to the Annual General Meeting or can be invited to participate to Board meeting. In  both cases they will not have right of vote or be elected to any Association’s representative Offices. For sponsor members a minimum yearly fee has been fixed equal to 25% of the adherent members fee. Contributions superior to the minimum yearly fee are welcomed for adding value to the “sponsor” title.

HONORARY MEMBERS (Honorary Committee)
The Management Board can constitute an Honorary Committee formed by individual persons who because of their activities in favour of NEWOPERA Aisbl objectives or for their professional distinguished career, can be honoured of such title. The nomination of honorary members must be ratified by the General Assembly. Honorary members can be invited to attend General Assemblies or Management Board meetings. In both cases they have no right to vote or be elected to any Association’s representative Offices. Honorary members are free of charge.
